Exeter Impact Awards 2013
The Exeter Impact Awards will return in December 2013 to celebrate the diverse range of research taking place across the University of Exeter and the benefits which our research brings to the world.
This event will recognise successes in knowledge exchange, collaborative working and partnership which have taken research from Higher Education and benefitted the wider economy and society.
What is impact?
Impact is defined as research which has generated a benefit or contribution to society. This impact will be evident in recognisable changes to:
- Public policy and / or public services,
- commercial or industrial activity,
- quality of life and cultural outputs.
The reach and significance of research is taken into account in each factor (ie the number of people affected and to what extent).
Who can apply?
The awards will be open to all members of the University research community.
