Tuition Fees and Payment Methods

Undergraduate students

Tuition fees for international studends starting their course in October 2010 were:

  • Arts, Humanities, Social Science (including Business and Law); Single Honours Mathematics; Geography: £11,100
  • Science and Engineering (including Psychology and Sport Sciences): £13,200
  • Combined Honours programmes that combine a science and a non-science subject: £12,150

Postgraduate students

Tuition fees for postgraduate programmes are quoted in the Postgraduate Prospectus.  They are also listed on the individual programme pages of the Postgraduate Taught and Postgraduate Research pages.

 The University of Exeter requires all Full-time Postgraduate Taught Applicants applying for entry for October 2009 to pay a Tuition-Fee deposit. If you receive an offer of a place on a Postgraduate Taught full-time programme (e.g. e.g. MSC or MA or MBA) you are required to pay a tuition fee deposit and your place at the University will not be confirmed until this had been received. An unconditional offer letter will only be issued when the deposit and, if applicable, any academic and other non-academic conditions of our offer have been satisfied; this letter can be used for Visa purposes if required. The tuition-fee deposit will be set against your tuition fee invoice in Term 1 following registration. For international students the deposit has been fixed at £1,000.
