What else do I need to think about?
There are lots of things to plan before you come to Exeter. Please see the Pre-arrival information section on the International Student Support Office website.
Accommodation
Accommodation is not automatically arranged as part of the Erasmus scheme. University accommodation is only guaranteed to students studying at Exeter for a full academic year who apply before 31 July 2010. A limited number of rooms are available for less than an academic year but are allocated on a first come first served basis. Applications are completed online. Visit the Study Abroad and Erasmus students section of the Accommodation Office website for more information, and especially the How to Apply pages for Study Abroad and Erasmus students.
Applications should be made as soon as possible or definitely before 31 July 2010. You will receive confirmation of your reservation and a contract. This is a legal document and you must read it carefully before signing and returning by the date indicated. For any information on your accommodation please contact the Accommodation Office.
Private accommodation
If you would prefer private accommodation we recommend that you arrive in Exeter early so that you can look for suitable accommodation. You can look at the student noticeboard or on the Accommodation Office’s private sector accommodation page.
