David Skålid Amundsen - First year PhD in Astrophysics
I'm currently doing a PhD in astrophysics where I model atmospheres of extrasolar planets. After learning about this fascinating project, and only hearing positive things about Exeter and its astrophysics group, I decided that this was what I wanted to do for my PhD. I do not regret it. The project is living up to expectations, and Exeter is a compact city with a beautiful campus and mild climate. National parks such as Dartmoor and Exmoor close by provide excellent opportunities for hiking, and London is only two and a half hours away by train.
