The University has a long history of accepting Brazilian students onto its degree programmes; examples in recent years include BA Economics, BEng Mining Engineering, MSc Sport and Health Sciences, MBA, LLM International and Comparative Public Law, MSc Finance and Investment, MPhil Politics, PhD Archaeology, PhD Sport Science, PhD Applied Geology and PhD Biosciences.

The University of Exeter has links with a number of universities and research institutes in Brazil including the University of Sao Paulo, FIOCRUZ and INPE.
