Grand Challenges - June

Grand Challenges is an (optional) project week in which students work in interdisciplinary groups to design innovative solutions to real world challenges. Top academics and invited speakers share their views and help you apply your skills and knowledge to a real-life problem. You further develop your transferable skills including team work, presentation skills and project planning.

 *Any student taking Drama modules in Semester 2 MUST arrive at Exeter in time to begin classes on Monday 7th January 2019 as teaching begins one week earlier.  This is non-negotiable.

Alternative Assessments - January

If classes at your home university resume during Exeter's exam week then some disciplines at Exeter will arrange an alternative assessment for you.  Proof of your term-dates will be required. Please contact your discipline for permission. Additional exceptions are below:

Business School The Business School do not arrange alternative assessment but will help you organise to sit the exams at your university. Contact: business-school-exchanges@exeter.ac.uk
Geography Do not offer an alternative assessment for Level 1 modules. 
Modern Languages Do not offer an alternative assessment. You must be present in Exeter in January for the examination.
Psychology Do not offer an alternative assessment. You must be present in Exeter in January for the examination.

Examination timetable

The examination timetables are usually released in early November for January exams.  Further information on the Exeter-based examinations can be viewed on the UG and PG taught webpages and for the Penryn Campus on the Exams in Cornwall page.

Examination details for Exeter can be viewed on the UG and PGT webpages and for Penryn on the Exams page. The May examination timetable for individual students is usually released in March. Students must complete exams in Exeter - alternative assessments/exams are not an option. Students may wish to consider a flexible air ticket when booking onward travel after  examinations.
