How much will the Summer School cost?
The 2013 fee is £2245. This is an all inclusive fee covering the course, accommodation, breakfast, your evening meal, a three day stay in London and a variety of cultural trips and social events.
If you apply before 15th February there is a discounted 'early bird' fee of £1995.
We will be offering a number of scholarships in 2013. To apply for a scholarship please indicate on your application form in the relevant section and attach your academic transcript and reference. These competitive scholarships are based on academic merit so we need your transcript and reference in order to consider you. For more details please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that you cannot receive both a scholarship fee reduction and the early bird discount - if you applied before the early bird deadline and were subsequently awarded a scholarship, the £250 early bird discount would be subtracted from the scholarship total. If you are seeking a scholarship we would still encourage you to apply by the early bird deadline, as if you are not awarded a scholarship, you will still pay a reduced fee.
Students from the US who receive a Federal Pell Grant are eligible to apply for a Benjamin A Gilman scholarship- find out more by visiting their website.
What other costs will I have to meet?
This cost does not include travel to or from the UK, passport or visa costs, insurance or personal expenses such as laundry or telephone calls.
How much is the deposit?
A deposit of £250 is required once you have been offered a place on the Summer School and will be deducted from the full course fee. The application fee is non-refundable if you cancel your place on the course. Please see the Late Cancellation Policy for further information.
How do I pay?
You can pay by credit card, cheque or bank transfer. You will be supplied with full details of how to do this with your offer letter.
