Global Chums Exeter - Become a Mentor

This application form is for current students who will be studying at the Exeter campuses in September 2019. 

If you would like to be considered as a Chum Mentor, it is essential that you are committed to the whole programme. This means you must:

  • Attend one training session
  • Reply to your chum’s emails / contact
  • Try to attend the 3 social events, which will be held during the first term
  • Respond to the Global Chums Exit Questionnaire

Deadline for mentor applications: 23 September 2019

Please complete this form as fully and as truthfully as you can. We will then try and match you with a suitable chum.

The information given here will solely be used by the Global Chums Coordinators for the purpose of Global Chums and will not be passed on to any third party, for any other purposes.

Global Chums Cornwall – Become a Mentor

We welcome applications from any student who would like to be a Global Chums mentor, but especially welcome applications from international and EU students, as well as those returning from Study Abroad themselves.

If you would like to be considered as a Chum Mentor, it is essential that you are committed to the whole programme. This means you should:

  • Email your Chum and reply to their emails and questions
  • Join the Global Chums Cornwall Facebook Group
  • Attend the ‘Meet Your Mentor’ event and ongoing social events throughout the year- the scheme is only ever as successful as its mentors!
  • Respond to the Global Chums Exit Questionnaire
