Study Abroad, International Exchange and Erasmus

This information is for our inbound Study Abroad, International Exchange and Erasmus students.

Before you arrive

Pre-arrival support emails

Students arriving to study in January will receive information emails about January Orientation in December

Students starting in September will receive three support emails over the summer, from July onwards, plus a ‘Welcome Email’ from the Admissions Office in August.

From mid-August onwards, you are also likely to be contacted by a Study Abroad representative from the department/s in which you have requested your modules. They will have received your Study Plan submitted with your online application and will do their best to allocate your chosen modules. Each department does things differently so please be patient throughout this process. Please note that modules cannot be guaranteed until you arrive on campus.

Erasmus paperwork

Certificates of arrival for Erasmus students will be signed at the Student Information Desk when you arrive at Exeter, after you have completed online registration.

Learning agreements can be signed by your study abroad coordinator before you arrive at the university, or when you arrive. If you need your learning agreement to be signed before you arrive, please contact your study abroad coordinator directly with the agreement document. Contact information for your study abroad coordinator can be found below under 'module allocation'.
