Progression requirements for September 2022

The table below provides detailed information about which INTO pathways and modules need to be taken to allow progression to a chosen subject, along with the grades that need to be achieved to guarantee progression to the College of Life and Environmental Sciences in September 2022.

 

Foundation pathway

Leading to Level 1 undergraduate study. A number of programmes are available as four-year options (MSci), with Professional Experience or with Study Abroad. Where programmes are available with Professional Experience or with Study Abroad the progression requirements are the same as those listed below. International Year One pathway

Leading to Level 2 undergraduate study. Please note that IYOP (Psychology) students cannot progress and apply for MSci Applied Psychology (Clinical) or BSc Psychology with Professional Placement through UCAS, however they may request a change of programme within the Psychology Department once they have successfully progressed to the University, although there will be additional requirements.

Similarly, IYO Biosciences students cannot progress and apply for the ‘with Professional Placement’ or ‘with Study Abroad’ variants of the degrees mentioned below. However, they may request a change of programme within their University Department once they have successfully progressed to the University, although there will be additional requirements and places might be limited.

Graduate Diploma pathway

Leading to Master-level study. All students are registered on the same Graduate Diploma course, however their modules are grouped into three pathways: General (free choice of optional modules), Finance and Accounting, or Business and Management. All students do the same modules in Term 1 and choose their module pathways depending on their progression choice.
