In addition to the above LEEP can offer one further studentship totalling £30K over the period of study which can be applied for in addition to the above schemes. This successful student would also be eligible for 180 hours of paid teaching assistance work (if they chose) which is typically worth in excess of £3K (subject to tax & National Insurance) per annum. This latter studentship focusses on the design of schemes and incentive payments to UK farmers to move to low carbon farming and other public money for public goods payments.
