African Drumming Ensemble

Having had a chequered history, as finding somewhere to rehearse was a challenge… African Drumming now has a home in Kay House Duryard. Excellent for developing rhythm skills of musicians from any genre, we are also open to complete beginners and experienced drummers alike. Learn the basics in the first term, and then put them into the authentic tradition with Trevor Wiggins, Ghanaian drumming expert, from the spring.

Workshop info!

African Drumming workshops take place every Wednesday, 4.00-5.30pm in Kay House Duryard. Open to all, this is a great opportunity to improve your sense of rhythm, meet new people and have fun!
