Exeter University Symphony Orchestra

We are one of the university's largest collective music societies. Each year the Orchestra puts on three concerts, one at the end of each term. The Orchestra benefits from having a professional conductor, Richard Gonski, who currently also conducts for Torbay Symphony Orchestra. With his experience and musical knowledge, the Orchestra have been able to attempt some major musical works, including Shostakovich's Fifth Symphony, Beethoven's Fifth and Ninth Symphonies, 'Pictures at an Exhibition,' as well as a traditional 'Proms Concert' in the Summer term.
