Exeter has most satisfied students

The most satisfied students on any course in Britain are studying Finance and Accounting at the University of Exeter, according to the 2008 Sunday Times league table.

This is the second year running that an Exeter degree course has made it to the top of the satisfaction rankings with Sports Science first in 2007.

Exeter continued its rise up the UK university league tables, coming 14th overall in The Sunday Times ranking (out of 120 listed universities) and fourth for student satisfaction.

The Sunday Times says: ‘The University of Exeter has the most fulfilled students in the Southwest according to an overall 84% score in this year’s National Student Survey...The beautiful surroundings of the Exeter campuses play their part in the university’s appeal, with coastal and moorland scenery to rival anything in Britain.’

The University is looking to the future with a £450 million investment plan, including a £45 million redevelopment of the centre of the Streatham campus, a £25 million investment in the Business School, £18 million for Biosciences and a major expansion of student residences.
