Cash of the Titans: Screening & Q&A
We will be screening Chris Guggiari-Peel’s documentary – Cash of the Titans! Synopsis: A small team of researchers tagged and radio-tracked the movement of titan beetles in the rain forests of French Guiana. These huge beetles are rare and therefore highly valued in the insect trade. This documentary explores the different aspects of the little-understood global trade of insects, how regulations and collectors' behaviours are changing and what this means to the conservation for the world's largest beetle species.
