Alastair Campbell: the Andrew Stratton Convocation Lecture

The Grand Challenges team is pleased to announce that Alastair Campbell will be speaking at the University of Exeter on Tuesday 3 June at 6pm in the Alumni Auditorium. This lecture will be the annual Andrew Stratton Convocation Lecture.

Event details

Alastair Campbell is best known as Tony Blair’s Communications Manager, during the last Labour government. However, despite his feisty reputation he has also spoken openly and honestly about his mental health issues.

In this lecture, Alastair will talk about the dangers of stigma and taboo around mental health and question how all of us could become more open to addressing and thinking about these important issues.

This talk is part of a University-wide programme called Grand Challenges, and is this year’s Andrew Stratton Convocation Lecture.

This event is open to all alumni, but places are limited. To book your place, please complete our online registration form.
