Gender, Fear and Rurality

An International Women's Day Research Seminar

This seminar will reflect Jos research interests in rural inequality and social identities and look at issues of fear and violence in the countryside. The seminar will draw in particular on Jos most recent work on the experience of domestic violence amongst rural women in the South West. Jo Little is Professor in Gender and Geography and her research focuses largely on rural and social issues. She is a member of the Geography and Spatial Responsibilities research group.
