EUC Exeter Branch: Talk on travels in India and Africa, by Peter Nickol & Hilary Noakes

The EUC is a friendly club for alumni, graduates and retired staff of Exeter University and their families. As well as those who have studied or worked on the Streatham Campus, this also includes St Lukes and the Tremough Campus, the former Camborne School of Mines, the Medical School and the (pre 1955) University College of the South West of England.

Event details

Peter and Hilary will describe, with slides, their journeys to South Africa and Lesotho (2006) and Malawi (2008), both of which included short spells of voluntary work, and to Southern India in 2013.
For Hilary, the African journeys included re-visits to places she knew more than forty years earlier.

Meet at 12pm for lunch at the City Gate Hotel, Exeter. This talk by two Branch members begins at 2pm.
