Global Conversation in Paris: “New Worlds, New Science and…New Life?”

Join University of Exeter alumni, supporters, staff and academics for an event in Paris featuring a presentation, pop-up art exhibition and opportunity to network at La Maison des Polytechniciens on Friday 26 June 2015.

In a fascinating presentation titled New Worlds, New Science and…New Life? by eminent academic Professor Isabelle Baraffe, Chair of Astrophysics at the University of Exeter, learn how Exeter’s world-leading research into exoplanets is teaching us more about our own planet, its history, and its future.

Following a thought-provoking presentation, there will be an opportunity for audience questions. There will also be a networking opportunity for all guests over drinks and canapés and an opportunity to view a pop-up exhibition from Devon-based artist Pandora Mond, current artist in residence working with Exeter’s Astro Physics Department. Professor Janice Kay, Provost and Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Exeter will be hosting this event and providing an update from the University.

All Global Conversation events are open to University of Exeter alumni and friends and are free of charge.
