My current role involves dealing with compliancy for a group of care homes for elderly, but I also have the opportunity create and implement strategies that improve the overall quality of our services. Roseanna Freiburghaus- trainee Child and Family Social Worker, Frontline I have just qualified as a Social Worker through the Frontline graduate scheme after a year of intense full time studying alongside full time on the job training. I now work with statutory Children’s Services in Manchester whilst undertaking an MA, the second half of the programme. As someone who has always had a commitment to working with disadvantage children and young people to support them to reach their potential, social work offers the chance to promote positive change with families to keep children safe and puts you in a powerful position for social justice. I look forward to talking to anyone with any questions about children and families social work, graduate schemes or a career in working with people. I graduated with a BA in English Literature at Tremough in 2012 and can’t wait to come back for the event to give a little bit back of what the campus has given me.
