Geography alumni reception at the Royal Geographical Society

Join fellow Exeter Geography alumni at a special reception at the Royal Geographical Society on Wednesday 17 February.


Event details

The Royal Geographical Society (www.rgs.org) in London is hosting this special free event including a  lecture and exhibition opening followed by a reception for Exeter Geography alumni. 

Hear from Professor John Wylie, Head of Geography and meet Geography colleagues and fellow Exeter graduates over drinks and canapés.

6.00-6.30pm Arrival at the Exhibition Road entrance to the Society

6.30-7.00pm welcome, followed by introduction to new exhibition, ‘The Enduring Eye: the Antarctic Legacy of Sir Ernest Shackleton and Frank Hurley’, tour of the exhibition and opportunity to view collections. 

7.00pm – University of Exeter Geography alumni reception in the Members Room, with drinks and canapés, and an opportunity to hear from Professor John Wylie, Head of Geography. Guests are also welcome to visit the displays and exhibition during this time.
