FULLY BOOKED: Exe-X - Women and Leadership Reception, Building Your Profile, Boosting Your Career

This year’s Women and Leadership Reception looks at building a personal ‘brand’ that will enhance your career prospects, whether with your existing employer or in a new or different role.

As ever, our evening will draw on the inspiring and varied experiences of Exeter’s female graduates, led by Helen Brand OBE (Politics 1986), CEO of ACCA, the global professional body for accountants. Helen will discuss how she has built her own profile to rise to the top of her profession. Alongside Helen we have a panel with Claire Derbyshire, Relationship Manager at LinkedIn, Joanna Murchie, Personal Branding Specialist, and Teresa Orange, Director at Teresa Orange Research providing different angles on the challenge of building a personal brand, including the use of social media, recruitment consultants, PR and networking.

For our venue, we return to the elegant and entirely fitting surroundings of The University Women’s Club near Green Park, W1, who hosted our 2015 event.
