FULLY BOOKED - Alumni Carol Service 2016

The annual Exeter Alumni Carol Service is now a popular part of the Christmas calendar and we are inviting you to join fellow graduates once again in central London.

Event details

This year the service will be led by alumnus The Rt Revd Jonathan Clark (English 1983), the Bishop of Croydon.

The service will last an hour and takes the form of a slightly shorter version of the traditional Nine Lessons and Carols Festival. Once again Richard Brain (History 2011) will be conducting and he is seeking graduates to create a choir and lead the singing. If you are interested in joining the choir please contact Richard at rtjbrain@hotmail.com.

Joining the event will be Chair of University of Exeter Council and Ms Sarah Turvill (Law, 1975).

Mulled wine and mince pies will be served afterwards.

Date: Thursday 1 December 2016

Choir rehearsal: 17:00
Time: 18:15-19:15 (followed by refreshments)
Venue: St Lawrence Jewry, Guildhall, London
Cost:  Free to attend.  Retiring collection to support University of Exeter Annual Fund

Attachments: A copy of the Order or Service and Guest List for this event are attached below. Please note that a printed copy of the Order of Service will be available on the night but we won’t be printing the guest list.

This event is now fully booked. Please email alumni@exeter.ac.uk if you would like to be added to the waiting list and we will contact you if any further places become available.

The event has been organised by the University and alumni Jonathan Broad (Law 2008) and Richard Brain. The idea for an alumni carol service was championed by Hugh MacDougald (Law 1976) and we are hugely grateful to him.
