Join the South West group for female graduates, for a fascinating tour of the University of Exeter’s Bill Douglas Cinema Museum.


Event details

Opened in 1997 as part of the British celebrations of the centenary of cinema, the Bill Douglas Cinema Museum features a collection of over 75,000 artefacts on the long history of the moving image. The Museums’ remit is to encourage the ongoing enjoyment, understanding and study of film. Many of its items are used extensively for teaching and research across a range of disciplines within the University.

Dr Phil Wickham, Curator of the Museum, will guide you through the museum’s two galleries telling the stories behind the displays and this unique and fascinating resource.
