South West Excellence in Education for Teachers (SWEET) Launch

Chartered College of Teaching - Regional Hub Launch

The Graduate School of Education is proud to launch its new status as a Regional Hub of the Chartered College of Teaching. We are celebrating with a free launch event on the theme of assessment, here at our St Luke's campus. Come and hear Dame Alison Peacock talk about the work of the Chartered College and her own professional learning and educational research.

Event details

The event is designed to explore the theme of the latest Chartered College journal 'Impact' and provide opportunities for local teachers to share good practice and network with colleagues. We also aim to find out what local teachers want from our Hub to help us plan future events. We want to hear from you!

Keynote Speaker - Dame Alison Peacock

We are delighted that we will be joined by Dame Alison Peacock, CEO of the Chartered College, who will speak about the work of the College: bridging the gap between research and practice, and supporting teaching professionals to gain the expertise they need to achieve and maintain genuine excellence. She will also be sharing her own experiences of professional learning and educational research. We are sure she will inspire!
