EURFC’s annual Varsity fixture takes place in term 2 of the academic year. With a crowd of upwards of 4000 packing out Sandy Park. It really is the pinnacle of the sporting calendar at Exeter University.

Event details
Traditionally, the fixture has seen EURFC play host to West-Country rivals Bath. However, more recent iterations have seen rivalries renewed with old foe Loughborough, including the most recent February Varsity fixture in 2020.
This year, EURFC and Loughborough are both riding high at the top of the BUCS Super Rugby table, with this seismic clash at Sandy Park set to have a huge say in the final standings.
The Round 16 clash on 23rd February will be another huge occasion, with your support crucial to making the event, and match, a success.
The annual fixture offers more than just a rugby game; it is a perfect opportunity to escape the winter drudgery and enjoy the electric atmosphere of Sandy Park with a crowd 4000 people strong.
It’s the biggest event of the Exeter University sporting calendar and is one not to be missed. Please come down and show your support for your university rugby team and make it a night to remember!
