Exe-X South West Alumnae Group – ‘Networking Plus – drinks and poetry evening’
Meet fellow female graduates and bring a poem if you wish!
For the Exe-X South West Alumnae Group ‘First Tuesday’ October event we will be meeting in the Lounge at Hotel du Vin for informal drinks, networking with fellow female graduates and chat. As an additional feature this time you are invited to bring along a poem (if you wish) to share. With renewed interest in poetry during lockdown, we thought it would be interesting to look at what is helping us through these challenging times. Long or short, poignant, funny, in English or in translation … bring it along and, if you like, read some or all to us.

Event details
We would like to emphasise that the poem element is entirely optional. We will begin with informal networking and drinks and you don’t have to bring a poem to join in the chat!
If you want to let us know what you are bringing in advance (only so we don’t all bring The Charge of the Light Brigade) feel free to send the poem to hilary.thomson@btinternet.com
No need to book. Just buy a drink from the bar on arrival (soft drinks, teas/coffees also available) and join us in the Lounge just beyond. Parking in the Magdalen Street car park almost opposite is free from 6pm.
