Community Energy Workshop

Explore the development of community energy, local energy production and energy efficiency.

The University of Exeter's Environment and Sustainability Institute (ESI), along with the University's Energy Policy Group, Cornwall Council and EnergyShare would like to invite you to an open workshop to discuss and explore research priorities, challenges and opportunities around the development of community energy, local energy production and energy efficiency in Cornwall and beyond.


Event details

The event aims to bring together community organisations, researchers and policy makers to discover more about the research priorities, challenges and opportunities facing the development of community energy and energy efficiency projects.

Dr Shane Fudge (Lecturer in Energy Policy) along with researchers from Renewable Energy, the ESI and politics will be leading the day’s events with support and input from Cornwall Council and EnergyShare, WRAP among others.

The event is open to all that have an interest in local energy production and increasing energy efficiency. A key outcome will be identifying key research questions and exploring ways in which the University can help support collaborative projects and action along with other partners and organisations.
