INSPIRE is a project organised by the Wellcome Trust and the Academy of Medical Sciences to encourage medical and dental students to gain experience and understanding of research.

Event details
The University of Exeter Medical School and Plymouth University Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry have a joint project that will involve conferences to showcase the research of junior doctors and students for years 1 and 2 in the autumn, taster days for students to visit research teams and experience what they do and summer research studentships that student can apply for. Our taster days are planned in conjunction with Cardiff and Bristol medical schools and we will support studentships outside the parent medical school if the application justifies it.
