Counting the costs: Introduction to the collection and analysis of health care resource use and cost data

This introductory level workshop will provide training on the collection and analysis of health and social care resource use data (e.g. GP, nurse, and hospital visits), a key component of many economic analyses. It will consider the collection of data using a number of different methods, including self-report participant questionnaires and routinely collected data. It will also present guidance on the commonly used sources and references for unit cost data, and the estimation of costs for the use of health and social care services.
