Non-Electoral Justice Movements in Electoral Environments: Understanding Political Instability in Kyrgyzstan since 2005

Dr John Heathershaw is Senior Lecturer in International Relations with interests in three broad areas: Central Asian studies including the former Soviet republics and Afghanistan; the inter-disciplinary study of humanitarianism, security assistance and intervention, especially post-conflict peacebuilding; and, in International Relations, methodological issues around the use of discourse analysis and political ethnography in fieldworkbased studies.
