Event details

This event is now full. You are welcome to watch the event online.

Information

Did you know that the South West is home to one the largest concentrations of climate science researchers in the world? Exeter as a city contributes more to the UN’s iconic Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report than any other city in the world.

During this interactive event you will be able to speak directly to world-leading climate change  researchers. Climate scientists will talk about how their research contributes to the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report (AR5), and you will be able to find out more about the broad range of climate research activity from the sciences to the arts.

You will also be able to see examples of climate research-related projects, and feedback your own perspectives and views on climate science. Before and after the event a number of stands featuring research and community projects on climate science will be available to attendees.

The evening showcase forms part of a wider conference being arranged by the University of Exeter in partnership with the Met Office and the University of Leeds.

Further information on the conference is available at www.exeter.ac.uk/climate2014.
