Information
Join the adaptation conversation at one of Climate UK’s free to attend satellite events, featuring live links to the Adaptation Sub-Committee’s latest report to Parliament, presented by ASC Chair, Lord Krebs live from London
Put your questions to the ASC and hear what other stakeholders are saying - what are the implications and opportunities in different parts of the UK? What do local organisations need to do? What’s the role of local partnerships?
Who should attend?
All climate change partnership members, local adaptation network members and stakeholders are welcome. Of particular interest to those responsible for infrastructure, transport and utilities; businesses resilience and continuity, flood risk management, public health and climate change adaptation — in the public, private and higher education sectors.
The report investigates the threats and opportunities for the country from climate change, focusing on the risks to infrastructure, business and public health. It will also update previous analysis on flooding, and consider the current capacity in the emergency response system to handle climate extremes.
