Event details
Please note this event is now fully booked.
This year the service will be led by alumnus and recently retired Bishop of Liverpool The Rt Revd. James Jones (Theology 1970). It will last an hour and takes the form of a slightly shorter version of the traditional Nine Lessons and Carols Festival. Once again Richard Brain (History 2011) will be conducting and he is seeking graduates to create a choir and lead the singing. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served afterwards.
Joining the event will be the Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of the University, Professor Sir Steve Smith and his wife Dr Jeannie Forbes.
The event has been organised by the University and alumni Jonathan Broad (Law 2008) and Richard Brain. The idea for an alumni carol service was championed by Hugh MacDougald (Law 1976) and we are hugely grateful to him.

Registration
Thanks to an anonymous donor, the Alumni London Carol Service is now free of charge.
If you previously purchased a ticket, your reservation will still be valid and you should have received an email on how to claim a refund of the ticket price.
Volunteers for singing in the choir would be most welcome and we would love to hear from anyone who sang in our previous carol services. There will only be one rehearsal and this will take place directly before the carol service at 5.15pm. Please contact Richard Brain, our choirmaster, directly if you are interested by emailing rtjbrain@hotmail.com.
For further details or if you have any questions about this event, please contact alumni@exeter.ac.uk.
