Impact and Engaged Research Network Launch

Event details

Who should attend?

This event is open to all academic (including PGR) and Professional Services staff (research managers, administrators, project officers, events managers, etc.) who are interested in impact and engagement. If you wonder what best practice looks like, or if you are new to both impact and engagement and want to know how to do it or what it means then please come along.

Event aims

  • Have you got a burning issue you want discussed?
  • Do you want to know about a particular organisation or type of engagement?
  • The network is a place to learn more, meet people who are doing engagement (or who are supporting researchers who do), and share best practice.

The Impact and Engaged Research Network aims to help by arranging training and events to share this kind of information.

What is the event about?

Following a short introduction from Louise Rutt (Research Impact Manager, RKT) and Grace Williams (Project Manager Public Engagement, RKT) you will break into groups to discuss what you want to get out of the Impact and Engaged Research Network and how the network can support you with your planned and future work.

Please note that we are not able to provide refreshments at this event, but attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch.

Registration

Register now for this event or for more information contact research-events@exeter.ac.uk. If you are unable to attend but would like to be involved, please contact Grace or Louise to be added to the network mailing list.
