This event is intended to bring together project partners, collaborators, and research teams.
Although it is a closed event we welcome enquiries from interested participants.
Event aims:
- A showcase of the Centre's work to date.
- An opportunity to meet with core academic staff and Research Fellows.
- An opportunity to find out more about the Centre's aims and visions.

The Centre for Biomedical Modelling and Analysis
The Centre for Biomedical Modelling and Analysis (CBMA) brings together scientists from quantitative disciplines including mathematics, computer science and physics with those from biology, biomedicine and clinical sciences to enable breakthroughs in biomedical and clinical research.
The Centre has six core Research Fellows with expertise spanning several areas including:
- Advanced mathematical and statistical modelling
- High throughout –omics
- Involvement and engagement of the public in research
- Multi-modal imaging and image analysis
- Systems biology and medicine
Led by a group of multidisciplinary academics from the College of Engineering, Mathematics, and Physical Sciences, the College of Life and Environmental Sciences, and the University of Exeter Medical School the Centre will provide bespoke training courses and drop-in sessions for biomedical researchers, as well as seed corn funding to pump prime new research projects.
The Centre for Biomedical Modelling and Analysis is based in the £27 million RILD building and was established through a £1 million grant from the Wellcome Trust.
