Translational Science Seminar

Dr Lukaszewski works for Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL), a branch of the Ministry of Defence that undertakes scientific research. They conduct research in several areas, including the protection of civilians and soldiers from the threat of chemical, biological and radiological weapons. This involves devising means for the detection of such weapons and medical counter-measures (vaccines, treatments etc) against them. DSTL often offer PhD projects, working in partnership with other organisations, including the University of Exeter. 

Dr Lukaszewski will outline his career path and describe some of the work currently being undertaken at DSTL.
