Event details
Who should attend?
All researchers and Professional Services staff with an interest in NERC funding are welcome to attend this session, which will be led by Professors Peter Cox, Tamara Galloway, and Pierre Friedlingstein.
Event aims
- The landscape for NERC research funding is changing rapidly - discovery science (blue skies) funding is becoming harder to obtain and restricted by demand management.
- During this event we will explain other NERC funding routes and opportunities, particularly how to engage with new processes to influence future strategic calls.
The overall aim is to work together to generate novel strategic ideas and identify leads to develop them for submission to NERC's Strategic Programme Advisory Group (SPAG).
