The Boundaries conference is co-sponsored by the British Academy and the University of California 'Dickens Project', and organized by Professor Regenia Gagnier and Dr Angelique Richardson.

A selection of papers from the conference will be subsequently published in a special issue of Victorian Literature and Culture.
