EUC Trip to Strasbourg

Exeter University Club are going on a tour of Strasbourg, Colmar and Freiburg. Join them for an Exeter reunion in Europe.


Event details

Exeter University Club will be flying together to Basel Mulhouse, followed by a transfer to Strasbourg. The tour includes a visit to the Cathedral of Notre Dame and the exterior of the European Parliament building. You will also have the option to enjoy a cruise to see Strasbourg from a different perspective, and to visit the two museums situated within the grand Palais de Rohan, Musée des Arts Décoratifs and Musée des Beaux-Arts. You will be in Strasbourg for Bastille Day, a perfect place to enjoy the festivities and ceremonies.

One day will be spent visiting Colmar, the capital of the Alsatian wine producing area. Colmar is also known for its Unterlinden Museum, famous for the Insenheim Altarpiece. The tour will also be visiting the old university city of Freiburg, dominated by ruins of three castles perched high on surrounding hills, on route to the airport and journey back home to London.
