Who should attend?

All biological, biomedical and clinical facing researchers are invited to attend a seminar on round two of the Wellcome Trust Centre for Biomedical Modelling and Analysis seedcorn funding.

What is the event about?

At the Seminar you will hear from our six core Research Fellows with expertise spanning several areas including:

• Advanced mathematical and statistical modelling
• High throughout –omics
• Involvement and engagement of the public in research
• Multi-modal imaging and image analysis
• Systems biology and medicine

Additionally you will receive information on how to apply to our second round of seedcorn funding.

The application deadline for seadcorn funding 5 October 2015 at 16:00. Successful applicants will be required to attend a retreat on 16 and 17 December. At the retreat applicants will develop their plans in collaboration with the Fellows and receive input from the University’s commercial, impact and public engagement teams.

Drop in sessions

Drop-in sessions are open to all researchers who need support or training in a particular topic, or to discuss research or grant ideas.

They will run fortnightly during term time and alternative between our campuses.
