Event details
Who should attend?
People with an interest in voluntary and community sector organisations, or community engagement and participation, are welcome to attend this workshop.
Workshop aims
The aim of this workshop is to discuss the increasing need to develop a new cross-sectoral approach to meet the challenges of adult social care.
We will:
- Learn and reflect on the outcomes of the Volunteers in Communities project.
- Identify collaborative research opportunities with practitioners in the healthcare and voluntary sectors.
- Develop new and strengthen existing links between researchers and delivery organisations and partners.
- Explore opportunities for further collaborative funding and partners.
What is the event about?
Building on the success of the Volunteers in Communities project, we wish to invite key stakeholders and partners to discuss current challenges and future directions for both researchers and core practitioners; supporting volunteers and the voluntary sector to drive positive change with, and beyond, the adult social care sector.
