Event information
Rewilding is the conservation process seeking the return of a habitat to its natural state.
But what are its ethical and global dimensions?
Can it contribute to solving challenges such as flooding, climate change, and improved wellbeing for all?
Join acclaimed writer George Monbiot, and the inspiring conservationist Alan Watson Featherstone, Executive Director of Trees for Life, for this topical event seeking to explore the social, ecological, and developmental benefits of rewilding, including the return of 'keystone species' to degraded habitats across the globe.
You can read more on George's views of rewilding, flooding, and climate change here: http://www.monbiot.com/2015/12/08/a-storm-of-ignorance/
