About the session

What are the key factors of good research marketing? How can you promote your research? Publishing in a scientific journal is not the end. What is your story, and how can you tell and sell it in an engaging, energetic way to a wider audience?

Presentation and exercises are aimed at discovering what makes a great story and how to achieve insight resonance.

Facilitator

Alan Edmondson, College Marketing Manager, is responsible for marketing and communications for the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences.

He joined the University in July 2013 from Siniat where he was responsible for UK innovation, new product development (NPD) and global websites. Prior to this he was a European Marketing Director for Coleman/Campingaz based in Lyon and Frankfurt.

All UoE researchers and relevant Professional Services staff.

This session is part of Research First Week (RFW), an event introduced in the College for Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences to provide dedicated time to be spent on research development activities.
