Who should attend?
All researchers and with an interest in the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) are invited to join this interactive session with Dr Amanda Chmura, Head of University Relationships and Business Engagement at the EPSRC.
Session aims:
During this session Dr Chmura will:
- Present key messages about the new EPSRC Delivery Plan (2016/17 - 2019/20: Science for a Successful Nation), which has been issued in response to the Government's allocation for research investment following the 2015 Spending Review.
- Explain how the EPSRC will use this to deliver against their vision, goals, and objectives, which the research programmes will be setting their calls for proposals and strategies around.
- Enable you to hear from a funder in the midst of change, with the establishment of UK Research and Innovation, and the development of the Global Challenges Research Fund.
