Who should attend this session?

All University of Exeter research-facing staff and postgraduate students are welcome to attend this session.

What is the session about?

All research-facing staff and postgraduate students are invited to join three open sessions with Professor Nick Talbot FRS, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research and Impact, and colleagues leading on strands of the Research and Impact Strategy.

Sessions will take place on St Luke's, Streatham, and Penryn Campus. For more information on the Research and Impact Strategy, please click here.

In these sessions you will be able to:

  • Hear about the latest developments in the University's Research and Impact Strategy.
  • Find out more about the key strategic areas, who is leading on them, and how they will impact the research community.
  • Ask questions to Professor Nick Talbot and key staff.

All researchers and Professional Services staff working in research-facing roles are very welcome to attend these sessions.

Programme

Following an introduction and overview from Professor Nick Talbot, academic and Professional Services leads for the strategy will give updates on the following areas:

  1. Doctoral College
  2. Research Impact, Creation, and Evaluation
  3. 21st Century Library
  4. Institute of Advanced Studies
  5. Global Vision 2050
  6. Scientific Platform Technologies
  7. Research-inspired, inquiry-led teaching

There will also be an opportunity for questions and discussion during the session.
