Trump’s First 100 Days: The Politics of (Mis)Information?

An Alumni and supporters event
Date10 May 2017
Time18:30 to 20:30
PlaceThe Reform Club, Pall Mall, London, SW1Y 5EW

The University of Exeter’s next Global Conversation lecture and networking event will take place on Wednesday 10 May at The Reform Club, London and will consider President Donald Trump’s first 100 days in Office.

Beginning with Franklin Roosevelt in 1933, US Presidents have promised to enact significant elements of the agenda within their first 100 days in office. This discussion examines the first 100 days of the Trump presidency. Questions we will discuss include: how effective has Trump been in implementing his agenda? What major policy changes have occurred?

Professor Jason Reifler will speak about what politics research tells us about the Trump Presidency so far. David Petts, a DC pollster and political strategist, will speak about what the politics of the US look like going forward.

This event forms part of the Global Conversation lecture series, an international series of events exploring global issues. You can share your thoughts and questions on the topic by following Twitter page @UoEGlobalConvo and view all our past and future events on the Global Conversation webpage.
