About the session
This session will provide an overview of good practice, ethical principles and governance in research, considering why these principles are relevant for all researchers and their value in high quality research.
In addition to the presentation, there will also be an opportunity to look at the ethical review and research governance processes, and some of the legislation relevant to research.
The session will highlight the sources of support and guidance that are available to researchers, and provide some tips on how to obtain relevant approvals in a timely way.

This session is part of Research Focus Week (RFW), an event introduced in the College for Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences to provide dedicated time to be spent on research development activities.
