Come and Sing!
Come along to enjoy this wonderful concert at the University’s Mary Harris Memorial Chapel. You can even join in singing these choral masterpieces from scratch via a workshop on the day.

Event details
• Rehearsals start at 2pm (with a buffet at 5.30pm for the singers)
• The concert starts at 7pm in the beautiful setting of the Mary Harris Memorial Chapel
Alumni, former staff and members of our local community are welcome to participate as singers with the choir (please select this option on the booking form), or simply come along to enjoy the concert itself.
The repertoire will include classics such as Zadok the Priest, the Hallelujah Chorus, Faure's beautiful Requiem and many more. Scores will be available in PDF form should anyone wish to have them before the day.
14.00 – Registration, Old Library
14.30 – Rehearsal of the work
17.30 – Light supper for singers
19.00 – Performance of 'Choral Classics' concert
21.00 - End

There is no specific dress code for this event – but most people choose smart casual.
Singers are also kindly asked to make a donation to help support the chapel choir. The suggested donation is £25 but any amount will be gratefully received. Donations can be made online here.
