EPSRC Healthcare Technology Theme visit

A Research Services research event
Date5 December 2017
Time10:00 to 13:45
PlaceLSI Seminar Room A, Streatham Campus

We are planning on recording this session for those who are unable to attend.

Event information

This event will provide the opportunity for Exeter researchers to meet with Annette Bramley, Head of the Healthcare Technologies Theme at EPSRC and Kate Bowman, Senior Physical Sciences Manager in the Physical Sciences theme.  The event will have a plenary presentation from Annette with a Q&A session followed by a showcase of Exeter’s strengths in this area.  We hope researchers will use the event and the networking session afterwards to explore how EPSRC uses its Delivery Plan’s Prosperity Outcomes to shape its portfolio and how their disciplines can contribute to these.

Aims of the event:

  • To raise the profile of EPSRC’s Healthcare Technologies Theme and the EPSRC Healthy Nation Outcome with a broad range of researchers, both in the core Engineering and Physical Sciences area, including computing and maths and those working in the Medical School, Business School, Living Systems Institute and Data Science Institute, including researchers not currently supported by the theme.
  • To explore ideas for using the impact and translation toolkit to support the development of Pathways to Impact for EPS research in health.
